Packed with flavor, pork shoulder is cooked in a sweet, hot, and savory marinade and topped with Beach Shack’s Pineapple Mango Habanero Sauce.

Ingredients

4-5 lb. Pork shoulder

2 medium onions-cut into chunks

4 garlic cloves-peeled
-
1 1/2 tsp. salt

1 tsp black pepper
-
2 tsp paprika
-
2 tsp chili powder
-
1/3 cup Red wine-your favorite
-
1/2 cup soda-Dr. Pepper or Coke
-
1/2 cup Pineapple Mango Habanero Hot Sauce
Directions
Trim any unwanted excess fat from the pork shoulder.
Place salt, black pepper, paprika, and chili powder in a small bowl and mix to combine.
In another bowl, add soda, red wine, and hot sauce and mix together.
Take dry spice mixture and sprinkle over all sides of pork shoulder and rub into roast.
Place pork shoulder into crockpot and add onions and garlic cloves, then pour liquid mixture over the pork .
Place cover on crockpot and cook on High for 6-8 hours.
Once the pork is fully cooked, remove it from the crockpot and place into a large bowl or pan, take two forks or put gloves on, and shred the pork.
Serve on a toasted bun and top it off with extra Pineapple Mango Habanero.
